To
be accurate in determining the location of these removed trees,
the property stakes should be found rather than using a general
measurement from the middle of the road. If you wish to have
city staff search out these property stakes, we can do so after
notifying the property owners that the city may be doing this
because of a resident's request and giving them, as property
owners, the opportunity to indicate if they object to this
action. It may be helpful to personally explain your request to
your neighbors so they understand your concern and are
comfortable with the city finding the stakes for their property.
In conclusion, the city will make every attempt to satisfy your
question about the location of the removed tree. Thanks for your
cooperation in this matter. Hopefully, it can be quickly
resolved. And, your inquiry reminds us to be very careful in
locating future diseased trees.
S' erely,
Susan Hoyt
City Administrator
CC: Mayor and Councilmembers
