Solid Waste Commission <br /> 8 April 1993 <br /> page two <br /> ELECTION OF OFFICERS: The commission elected the following officers effective <br /> immediately: Marty McCleery, chair; Laura Kuettel, vice chair, Susan Smith, <br /> secretary. A motion was made by Iverson, seconded by Misra. <br /> MALL OF AMERICA /BFI RECYCLING TOUR: The meeting has been scheduled for <br /> July 8, 1993. This date will be verified at the May meeting and arrangements <br /> will then be made with BFI along with an invitation to the council to join us. <br /> MAY AGENDA: Continue annual report discussion and finalization. Possible <br /> name change of commission. Confirm tour date. <br /> MISCELLANEOUS: Shirley Chenoweth reported the new recycling providers were <br /> handling the route with ease. Preprinted tags still claim magazines and <br /> catalogs are unacceptable. One resident received a tag that cereal boxes are <br /> not acceptable and complained they were picked up by the last recycler. <br /> Kuettel appreciates commission members contacting Shirley Chenoweth if unable <br /> to attend a meeting. <br /> The meeting came to a close at 8:58p. <br /> Laura Kuettel, vice chair <br />
