1) Analyze existing data to determine eligibility of the <br /> resident's relocation expenses for compensation. <br /> 2) Assist the resident in determining the most advantageous <br /> payment alternatives to claim and provide further <br /> instructions on how to proceed. <br /> c. Moving Expense Claims. <br /> 1) Advise the resident of the two types of payment for <br /> moving; fixed payment schedule and actual reasonable <br /> moving expenses. <br /> 2) Review the fixed moving schedule and advise the resident <br /> of the benefits under the fixed payment move costs <br /> option. <br /> 3) If choosing the actual move costs option, advise the <br /> resident on procedure to obtain required bids. <br /> 4) Assist the resident when necessary in preparing moving <br /> specifications. <br /> 5) Act when appropriate as agent in regard to accepting <br /> bids. <br /> 6) Analyze the bids to determine their reasonableness. <br /> 7) Notify the resident of the low acceptable bids. <br /> 8) When appropriate inspect the move of personal property <br /> while in progress. <br /> 9) Assist the resident in assembling all invoices, paid <br /> receipts, and other documentation necessary to <br /> substantiate the relocation claim. <br /> 10) When necessary analyze billings to determine their <br /> reasonableness. <br /> 11) Assemble the appropriate claim forms and documentation <br /> for signature and submission to the Contractor for <br /> approval. <br /> d. Replacement Housing Payment. <br /> 1) Determine eligibility of the resident to receive this <br /> relocation payment. <br /> 2 <br />
