2) Survey the housing market and prepare a comparable <br /> housing analysis to determine the limit on amount of <br /> payment. <br /> 3) Inspect the replacement housing to determine if the <br /> dwelling meets the requirements of decent, safe and <br /> sanitary housing. <br /> 4) Assemble the appropriate claim forms and documentation <br /> for signature and submission for approval. <br /> e. Other. <br /> 1) The Consultant shall prepare, at the Contractor's <br /> request, the required and proper formats to be used by <br /> the Contractor in notifying occupant being displaced <br /> about their relocation eligibility and benefits to which <br /> they may be entitled. The Consultant will also, upon the <br /> Contractor's request, assist the Contractor in the <br /> preparation of the required notices to vacate for <br /> delivery to the residents. <br /> 2) The Consultant shall search for replacement sites for the <br /> residents being displaced and refer suitable, comparable <br /> housing found to each resident. The Consultant shall <br /> expend appropriate and necessary time searching for such <br /> referrals, documenting all time expended. The Consultant <br /> does not warrant that suitable referrals will be found. <br /> f. Recommendations. <br /> The Consultant will transmit to the Contractor the relocation <br /> claim(s) for its action. Recommendations will include the <br /> amount of payment to be made and any special considerations. <br /> Recommendations will be made in a detailed written format <br /> satisfying required regulations. <br /> g. In completing this Contract, the Consultant does not assume <br /> the responsibility for: <br /> 1) Preparation of status reports. <br /> 2) Accounting and recordkeeping (except as related to the <br /> specific claim). <br /> 3) Arrangement of real estate closings on replacement <br /> housing. <br /> 4) Payment for replacement housing appraisals and moving <br /> cost estimates and /or bids. <br /> 5) Work associated with a relocation grievance. <br /> 3 <br />
