This budget <br /> includes conferences and schools for commissioners to attend in the Twin City area. <br /> However, this year the Human Rights Commission is requesting that the budget be <br /> revised slightly to allow for a one -time, $100 contribution toward Gwen Willems <br /> attendance at the International Human Rights Conference in New Brunswick, Canada <br /> in June, 1994. This commission estimates that this will put the commission $40 over <br /> budget for 1994. <br /> This one -time request is made to compliment the Minnesota League of Human Rights <br /> contribution toward Gwen's attendance at the conference. The commission feels that <br /> the city will benefit from Gwen's additional training in human rights. <br /> A Memo from the Human Rights Commission dated 11 February 1994 <br /> ACTION REQUESTED: <br /> Approve the $100 contribution toward Gwen Willem's attendance at the International <br /> Human Rights Conference in New Brunswick, Canada in June, 1994. <br /> 'til <i«iiiii <br />
