Hoisington Koegler Group Inc. <br /> H I< <br /> g i July 1, 1994 <br /> City of Falcon Heights <br /> 2077 West Larpenteur Avenue <br /> Falcon Heights, MN 55113 -5594 <br /> Re: Contract Proposal for Larpenteur Avenue Streetscape Plans <br /> Attention: Ms. Susan Hoyt, City Administrator <br /> This letter proposal outlines a Scope of Services, Fee Schedule and other elements <br /> which together constitute an agreement between the CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS, <br /> hereinafter referred to as the CITY, and HOISINGTON KOEGLER GROUP INC., <br /> hereinafter referred to as the CONSULTANT for professional planning services <br /> authorized to prepare streetscape plans for Larpenteur Avenue, hereinafter referred <br /> to as the PROJECT. <br /> The CITY and CONSULTANT agree as set forth below: <br /> A. BASIC SERVICES WORK PROGRAM <br /> PHASE 1- STREETSCAPE PLAN <br /> The Phase 1 Work Program will include the following: <br /> 1. A broad corridor evaluation including photoanalysis and mapping, to <br /> develop an understanding of the relationship of the corridor to its <br /> surroundings and identify areas that may offer streetscape opportunities or <br /> require special treatments to minimize roadway impacts. <br /> 2. The conduct of individual meetings (3 estimated) with key players including <br /> the University of Minnesota, the CITY, the Fair Board, Coffman <br /> representatives, and representatives of the Gibbs Farm and School to generate <br /> concepts and ideas which relate to each and solicit PROJECT support and <br /> understanding. <br /> 3. The formulation of streetscape plans and alternative concepts for focus areas <br /> including street lighting, pavement treatments, bus stops, landscaping, <br /> grading, entries and signage elements.
