MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />May 28, 2008 <br />RESOL UTION NO. 2008-5-138 -APPROVING THE ABDO <br />MARKETHOUSE DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT SUBJECT TO <br />REVIEW AND COMMENTS OF THE CITY ATTORNEY, AND <br />AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITYADMINISTRATOR TO <br />EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by McGraw. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />TERRACE The City Administrator reviewed his report dated May 23, 2008 relative <br />HEIGHTS, to the City's potential acquisition of manufactured homes on Lots C and <br />LOTS C & D D, Terrace Heights Mobilehome Park as part of the City's future <br />streetscape improvements to the County Road B-2/Rice Street <br />intersection. The City Administrator indicated that the potential <br />acquisition of the home on Lot C is premature at this time. The owner of <br />the home on Lot D would like to proceed. The City Administrator <br />suggested that the City draft a contingent purchase agreement with this <br />owner that would be subject to a development agreement with Terrace <br />Heights relative to their interests in the land as well as providing that the <br />home value be set by appraisal. The City Administrator estimated the cost <br />of an appraisal at $350. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2008-5-139 -AUTHORIZING THE CITY <br />ADMINISTRATOR TO DRAFT A PURCHASEAGREEMENT FOR <br />THE ACQUISITION OF THE MOBILEHOME ON LOT D, <br />TERRACE HEIGHTS, CONTINGENT ONANAGREEMENT WITH <br />THE OWNERS OF TERRACE HEIGHTS MOBILE HOME PARK, <br />AND AUTHORIZING APPRAISAL OF THE MOBILE HOME TO <br />DETERMINE PROPERTY VAL UE <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />3007 ARCADE The City Administrator noted that the Code Enforcement Officer has <br />STREET - reported that many of the nuisance violations at 3007 Arcade Street have <br />NUISANCE been addressed. The only remaining issue is the dumpster on the property. <br />ABATEMENT The property owner, Kissel Construction, has indicated their intent to <br />complete construction of the house and landscaping. The Administrator <br />stated that it does not appear there is anything in the current Code that the <br />17 <br />
