MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />APRIL 27, 2005 <br />CURBSIDE Roseville Area Middle School parking lot, 15 County Road B-2 East. <br />APPLIANCE Items that will be colleted are clothing, electronics, furniture, tires, <br />PICK-UP and miscellaneous trash. Clothing collection is at no cost, but there is a <br />cost for all other items. It was noted that the City is subsidizing the cost of <br />this year's Clean-Up Day, thus reducing the cost to users. <br />Appliance pick-up is scheduled for Monday, May 9`h beginning at 7 a.m. <br />by appointment only. Please contact that City Center at 766-4029 by <br />Monday, May 2"~ to arrange for this service. <br />Blesener noted that there will be no City blush collection this year due to <br />the availability of County composting sites. <br />CUP FOR TWO Mayor Blesener opened the Public hearing to consider a request for a <br />GARAGES - Conditional Use Permit to allow two garages (one attached and one <br />762 LABORS detached) on a property as well as total garage space over 1,000 square <br />ROAD - feet at 762 LaBore Road, Carl and Sue Nelson. The Planning <br />NELSON Commission has recommended approval of the CUP subject to <br />compliance with the City Planner's report. <br />The City Planner noted that the Nelson's currently have both an attached <br />and a detached garage. They are proposing to replace the existing <br />detached garage which is in a deteriorated condition. The Planner noted <br />that the exact dimensions of the new garage have not yet been determined. <br />However, the total garage area will not exceed 1,500 square feet. The <br />Planner noted that the Nelson property is nearly two acres in size and the <br />proposed garage fits into the property well and meets all code <br />requirements. <br />There was no one present from the general public wishing to comment on <br />this matter. <br />Upon motion by LaValle, seconded by Montour, the public hearing was <br />closed. <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO.2005-4-94 - APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE <br />PERMIT TO ALLOW TWO GARAGES (ONE ATTACHED AND ONE <br />DETACHED) ONA PROPERTYAS WELL AS TOTAL GARAGE <br />SPACE OVER 1,000 SQUARE FEET FOR 762 LABORS ROAD AS <br />REQUESTED BY CARL AND SUE NELSON SUBJECT TO <br />COMPLIANCE WITH THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE CITY <br />PLANNER AND THE PLANNING COMMISSION <br />
