MINUTES CITY COUNCIL APRIL 27, 2005 He noted that the outdoor storage issue will be considered at the May Planning Commission meeting. The City Administrator indicated that McGough Construction has been informed that they would not be allowed to exceed the outdoor storage area that was previously approved for Orius. The Planner noted that McGough may want to purchase all three of the Hillcrest properties, and has commented about the possibility of a building addition, which would increase the outdoor storage area that is allowed under the current code. Keis pointed out that the Planning Commission has not had an opportunity to study and comment on the outdoor storage issue in the I-P District. Therefore, the City would not be able Co give McGough Construction an answer on the outdoor storage that they are proposing. The City Administrator reported that McGough was informed that the Planning Commission was studying the issue, but they wanted staff to ask Che Council if it would process their application. The Council discussed the type of outdoor storage that McGough is proposing as well as the fact that a moratorium is in place while the issue of outdoor storage is being studied. Blesener noted that until the study is completed, the future status of outdoor storage in the I-P District is unknown. The City Attorney reviewed the moratorium ordinance noting that the ordinance states that the City cannot consider applications for outdoor storage in the I-P Disd~ict while the moratorium is in place. The City has the option of amending Chis ordinance, however. It was the consensus of the Council that the application submitted by McGough Construction should be returned pending the outcome of the City's study. PARKING The City Administrator reviewed his report dated April 22, 2005 relative REGULATIONS to parking regulations. He pointed out that the Sheriff's Department has also reviewed the issue and based on staff discussion and input from the traffic officer the following recommendations are being made: No changes in parking restrictions for the following (i.e. retain no parking on both sides of the street): County Road B-2 -Edgerton to Arcade; LaBore Road -Centerville to County Road D; Arcade Street -Keller Parkway to LaBore.
