MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JUNE 22, 2005 <br />Allan asked if this type of construction is allowed in non-conforming <br />mobile home parks, if it would then be allowed all over the City. The City <br />Planner replied that the Zoning Code amendment is specific to non- <br />conformingmobile home parks only. The City Administrator noted that <br />there are two other non-conforming mobile home pat•ks in the City. <br />Blesener noted that the City has an R-4 zoning specific to mobile home <br />parks. However, to rezoning the mobile home parks to R-4 would trigger <br />the requirements for a lot of other changes. <br />There was no one present from the general public wishing to comment <br />further on this matter. <br />Upon motion be Montour, seconded by LaValle, the public hearing was <br />closed. <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO.2005-6-I35 -ADOPTING AN ORDINANCE <br />AMENDING CHAPTER 903 OF THE LITTLE CANADA CITY <br />CODE, KNOWN AS THE ZONING CODE, BY PROVIDNG FOR <br />ACCESSORY STORAGE BUILDINGS TO NON-CONFORMING <br />MOBILE HOME PARKS BY CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT AS <br />PRESENTED BY THE CITY PLANNER, BUT ELIMINATING <br />CONDITION "c."FROM THE ORDINANCE AS PROPOSED <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Allan. <br />Ayes (4) LaValle, Allan, Montour, Keis. <br />Nays(1) Blesener. Motion declared adopted. <br />CUP, Blesener opened the Public Hearing to consider the application for <br />VARIANCE, Conditional Use Permit for a storage building in anon-conforming <br />ARCHITECTURALmobile home park, a Variance for building materials to allow a 10-unit <br />REVIEW - metal storage building, and Architectural Review for the proposed <br />2442 RICE building. The City Planner recommended that the garage/storage <br />STREET - building be of residential-style construction. The Planning Commission <br />TERRACE recommended that the Zoning Code be amendment to allow for a <br />HEIGHTS metal building in anon-conforming mobile home park without the need <br />MOBILE for a variance. <br />HOME PARK <br /> There was no one from the general public present wishing to comment on <br /> this matter. <br />Upon motion by LaValle, seconded by Montour, the public hearing was <br />closed. <br />10 <br />
