Resolution declared adopted. <br />CONSENT Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />AGENDA <br />RESOLUTION NO.2005-7-I52 -APPROVING THE CONSENT <br />AGENDA WHICH CONTAINS THE FOLLOWING: <br />*APPROVING THE VOUCHERS; <br />*APPROVING THE PAY REQUEST OF TOWER ASPHALT FOR <br />2005 IMPROVEMENTS; <br />*APPROVING THE TEMPORARY LIQUOR LICENSE FO LITTLE <br />CANADA CANADIAN DAYS FOR AUGUST 5, 6, 7, 2005 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />CITY CENTER The City Administrator reviewed Che City Engineer's letter dated <br />PARKING LOT July 13, 2005 relative to reconstruction of the City Center parking lot. <br />The Administrator pointed out that the parking lot surfacing has <br />deteriorated due to subsurface water. The Engineer is recommending that <br />some storm sewer as well as drain file along the parking lot edges be <br />installed. The Engineer obtained two quotes for this work. The low quote <br />received is from Tower Asphalt in the amount of $60,688.00 for full lot <br />reconstruction. The second quote received is approximately $15,000 <br />higher. The work could be added as a change-order to the 2005 Street <br />Reconshuction project. <br />The Administrator also reviewed three options should the City Engineer <br />outlined, that is, full lot reconstruction ($60,688), reconstruction of only <br />the public parking lot ($53,000), or reconstruction of only the middle <br />portion of the lot ($43,500). <br />It was the consensus of the Council to postpone this project in the spring <br />in the hope that more favorable bids would be obtained at that time. <br />REIMBURSE- The City Administrator reviewed his report dated July 8, 2005 relative <br />MENT FOR to reimbursement of $400 to Mike Rogers, 3295 Twin Lake Road, for <br />GARDEN - damage to a flower garden resulting from the Twin Lake area sri•eet and <br />11 <br />
