MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JULY 13, 2005 <br />3295 TWIN watermain improvement. The City Administrator pointed out that the <br />LAKE ROAD garden had been located within the street right-of-way. Historically, the <br />City has restored private improvements within the right-of-way that are <br />disturbed as the result of a street reconstruction. The Administrator <br />wanted to ensure that the Council was agreeable to this practice going <br />forward. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2005-7-I53 -APPROVING THE <br />REIMBURSEMENT OF MIKE ROGERS, 3295 TWIN LAKE ROAD, <br />IN THE AMOUNT OF $400 FOR FLOWER GARDEN <br />RESTORATION NECESSITATED AS THE RESULT OF THE TWIN <br />LAKE AREA STREET AND WATER MAIN IMPROVEMENT <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution adopted. <br />CALL FOR The City Administrator reported that the Roseville Area School District <br />HEARING - has requested that the City vacate that portion of Park Street that abuts <br />VACATION their property in exchange for trail easement the School District is <br />OF PARK granting the City. It was the consensus of the Council to call a public <br />STREET hearing to consider this request as well as the possible vacation of Park <br /> Street extending north to Demont Avenue. <br />Mr. Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO.2005-7-754 - CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING <br />FOR WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 74, 2005, AT 7:30 P.M. TO <br />CONSIDER THE VACATION OF PARK STREET FROM COUNTY <br />ROAD B-2 TO DEMONT AVENUE <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Allan. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution adopted. <br />PUBLIC The City Administrator reviewed his report dated July 8, 2005 relative <br />WORKS to a new Pubic Works garage and the MAC Properties site off of <br />GARAGE Woodlyn Avenue. The Administrator reviewed the estimated acquisition <br />SITE costs of $750,000 for this site should a voluntary acquisition be <br />impossible. The Administrator reported that the estimate of relocation <br />costs is based on a relocation specialist's very rudimentary analysis at this <br />point. <br />12 <br />
