MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JULY 13, 2005 <br />The City Administrator indicated Chat if MAC Properties is not interested <br />in a voluntary sale, then he will bring the matter back to the Council to <br />determine if they wish Co pursue an offer of just compensation. <br />PUBLIC Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />WORKS <br />SUPERVISOR RESOLUTION NO.2005-7-156 -APPROVING THE INTERIM <br />INTERIM SALARY ADJUSTMENT FOR THE PUBLIC WORKS SUPERVISOR <br />SALARY AS RECOMMENDED BY THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR IN HIS <br />ADJUSTMENT MEMO DATED JULY 8, 2005 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution adopted. <br />PARK Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />MASTER <br />PLAN RESOLUTION NO.2005-7-757 -APPROVING THE WORK SCOPE <br />UPDATE AND COST ESTIMATE FOR THE PARK MASTER PLAN UPDATE <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution adopted. <br />ERIC Eric Weisman appeared before the Council to raise a number of issues. <br />WEISMAN The first was the City's ordinance that prohibits the walking of more than <br />three dogs at one time, and Weisman asked the Council to reconsider this <br />ordinance. There was no interest on the part of the Council in changing <br />Chis ordinance at this time. <br />Weisman next expressed concern about the number of trees that were lost <br />to the Gervais Hills development. Blesener pointed out that the City has a <br />hee restoration policy that requires 30 caliper inches of trees per acre. <br />Weisman felt that the City should require the mandatory retention of trees. <br />Weisman expressed concern about the speed limit on Edgerton Street and <br />suggested that the speed limit be lowered. Blesener noted that there is <br />additional traffic enforcement out in the City due to traffic speed <br />complaints as well as highway construction projects that are forcing <br />additional traffic into the City. The City Administrator pointed out that <br />Edgerton Street is a County road. If a speed study is requested, the <br />County will have one done.
