MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JULY 27, 2005 <br />Mayor Blesener reminded the public of Che Canadian Days Festival which <br />will be held August 5, 6, and 7, 2005 in Spooner Park. Blesener also <br />thanked the many volunteer who work countless hours to put on this <br />festival each year. <br />HISTORICAL Mayor Blesener accepted a $4,000 donation from the Historical Society <br />SOCIETY toward the repayment of their loan for the Historical Society building <br />DONATION addition. He noted that the Historical Society owes less than $2,000 on <br />that addition. <br />PROPERTY Mayor Blesener opened the Public Hearing to consider the request for <br />DIVISION - the division of 2545 Edgerton Street into two single-family lots made by <br />2545 EDGERTON Carol Berglund. Blesener noted that the property division meets the <br />STREET - City's code requirements. He also noted that the City Planner and the <br />CAROL Planning Commission have recommended approval of the property <br />BERGLUND division subject to the conditions outlined in the City Planner's report <br />dated July 11, 2005. <br />There was no one present from the general public wishing to comment on <br />this matter. <br />Upon motion by Keis, seconded by Allan, the public hearing was closed. <br />Mr. Keis introduced Che following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2005-7-162 -APPROVING THE DIVISION OF <br />2545 EDGERTON STREET INTO TWO SINGLE-FAMILY LOTS AS <br />REQUESTED BY CAROL BERGLUND SUBJECT TO COMPLIANCE <br />WITH THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE CITY PLANNER AS <br />OUTLINED IN HIS REPORT DATED JULY 11, 2005 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />AMENDMENT Blesener opened the Public Hearing to consider an Amendment to the <br />TO I-P Zoning Code relative to the amount, location, and screening of outdoor <br />DISTRICT storage in the Industrial-Park (I-P) District. Blesener noted that the <br />RELATIVE proposed amendment relates to Section 918.040.A. Open and Outdoor <br />TO Storage as an Accessory Use. No amendment is proposed for Section <br />OUTDOOR 918.040.B. Semi-Truck or Trailer Parking as an Accessory Use. <br />STORAGE <br />
