MINUTES CITY COUNCIL SEPTEMBER 14, 2005 The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. Ayes (5). Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. DECEMBER The City Administrator indicated that given the City's past practice of MEETING holding one regular Council meeting in December, staff is recommending SCHEDULE that the December 28, 2005 meeting be cancelled. Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 2005-9-213 -CANCELLING THE DECEMBER 28, 2005 REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL AS RECOMMENDED BY CITY STAFF The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Allan. PUBLIC Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: HEARING TO ADOPT RESOLUTION NO. 2005-9-2I4 - CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING 2006 FOR WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 74, 2005, AT 7:30 P.M. TO ADOPT BUDGET THE 2006 BUDGET The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. Ayes (5). Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. 4-WAY STOP The Public Works Superintendent recommended the installation of a AT NADEAU 4-way stop at the intersection of Nadeau Road & Condit Street. He noted ROAD & the recent development of the Hidden Acres plat which includes Concetta CONDIT Way and Nadeau Road west of Condit Street have made this a 4-way STREET intersection. Given the alignment of this intersection as well as increased traffic flows, the Public Works Superintendent felt that it warranted a 4- way stop from a public safety perspective. It was also noted that this intersection meets the criteria fora 4-way stop given the relatively equal traffic flows at the various legs and is notably different from intersections we have denied 4-way stops in the past.
