MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />SEPTEMBER 14, 2005 <br />ROAD AND CONDIT STREET AS RF,COMMENDED BY THE <br />PUBLIC WORK5 SUPERINTENDENT <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Allan. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />SHERMAN The City Administrator indicated thaC Sherman Associates is requesting <br />PROJECT - approval to move Cheir proposed office building at the northeast corner <br />NORTHEAST of Rice Street and Little Canada Road approximately 5 feet to the north. <br />CORNER Or The request is related to the environmental clean up of the property and <br />RICE Sc the fact that iC was not possible to clean up the most southern area of <br />LITTLE contamination without disturbing the streetscape improvements along <br />CANADA Little Canada Road. The Administrator noted that in order to offset the <br />ROAD building move, Sherman is proposing to reduce the length of parking stalls <br /> from 20 feet to 19 feet as well as reduce the sidewalk and green area by <br /> one foot each. These changes have been reviewed with the City Planner, <br /> and he has determined them to be acceptable as long as 60 feet is allocated <br /> for two rows of parking and the driveway aisle. The Administrator also <br /> noted that the City Attorney has reviewed the request and given the <br /> change to the PUD is minor, he feels that the Council can acC on this <br /> change as presented this evening. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2005-9-2I6 -APPROVING THE PUD <br />AMENDMENT FOR THE VILLAGE AS REQUESTED BY <br />SHERMAN ASSOCIATES MOVING THE OFFICE BUILDING FIVE <br />FEET TO THE NORTH <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />MET COUNCIL The City Administrator presented the extension of the Met Council's <br />EASEMENT temporary easement over the Public Works garage property which would <br />OVER PUBLIC run through October, 2006. He noted that the current easement will <br />WORKS expire October of 2005, and the related project work for Unweave the <br />PROPERTY Weave is just beginning. The same conditions will still apply in the <br />extended easement. The Administrator noted that the City will receive an <br />additional $2,000 in compensation for this easement extension. <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />12 <br />
