MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />SEPTEMBER 14, 2005 <br />determined, and felt that given the manhole locations, the streeC may be <br />about 1 'h feet east of Che centerline rather than 5 feet. <br />Graczyk reported that the School District fenced their ballfields in the <br />mid-1970's and since that time the mobile home park has been <br />maintaining the area. At times, the area has been an eyesore resulting <br />from the storage of vehicles, eCC. Graczyk stated that the mobile home <br />park has asked for the help of the City's code enforcement officers to <br />clean this area up. However, it has been a difficult area to police for the <br />mobile home park since they do not own the property. <br />Blesener asked if the City is responsible for Che upkeep of the private drive <br />on Che Park Street right-of-way. The City Administrator noted that this is <br />not an improved right-of-way from the City's standpoint. The City <br />Administrator stated that he would have the City Engineer determine the <br />exact location of the Park StreeC righC-of-way. <br />Blesener suggested Chat CiCy staff contact the School DistricC to determine <br />what they want Co accomplish in the vacation of this right-of-way. <br />Graczyk stated that aC a minimum he would like to see the Park Street <br />right-of-way maintained from the former Transit Street north to Demont <br />Street. He noted that the mobile home park owns both sides of the street <br />in this location. He first preference, however, is to retain the full Park <br />Street right-of-way from County Road B-2 to Demont Street. <br />Graczyk pointed out that a lot of parking occurs on the Park Street right- <br />of-way during sporting events held on the adjacent ballfields. Graczyk <br />was concerned that vacating all or a portion of that right-of--way would <br />push parking info the mobile home park causing a hardship for his <br />residents. <br />Blesener suggested ChaC the matter be tabled until the School District can <br />be contacted for more information on this issue.
