MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />SEPTEMBER 14, 2005 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />NORTHWEST Kay Andrews, Northwest Youth & Family Services, appeared before <br />YOUTH & the Council reporting on the agency's response to community needs <br />FAMILY over the past 29 years. Andrews noted NYFS' comprehensive, family- <br />SERVICES centered approach to serving the community in the areas of mental health, <br />diversion, senior and youth programs. Andrews reported on the services <br />provided to Little Canada's children, youth, and families who are <br />experiencing at-risk circumstances. She spoke of the importance of <br />continued community support in Chese efforts. <br />Mary Sue Hanson, Suburban Ramsey County Family Collaborative, <br />reported to the Council on their mission and vision statements which focus <br />on the well-being of children and youth. Hanson indicated Chat continuing <br />to work collaboratively between agencies and communities will build <br />environments where no child remains at risk. <br />CONSENT Mr. Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />AGENDA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2005-9-202 -REMOVING TOWER <br />CONSTRUCTION'S PAY REQUEST FOR 2005IMPROVEMENTS <br />FROM THE CONSENT AGENDA FOR FURTHER DISCUSSION <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Keis. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />Mr. Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2005-9-203 - APROVING THE CONSENT <br />AGENDA WHICH CONTAINS THE FOLLOWING: <br />*APPROVAL OF THE VOUCHERS; <br />*APROVAL OF TRANSFER OF OFF-SALE LIQUOR LICENSE AND <br />APROVAL OF TOBACCO LICENSE FOR MOON BAY LIQUORS; <br />*APPROVAL OF PAY REQUEST FOR 2005 IMPROVEMENTS FOR <br />TWIN CITY HYDROSEEDING; <br />6 <br />
