MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />OCTOBER 12, 2005 <br />WORKSHOP <br />ON <br />COMMUNITY <br />SURVEY <br />Mr. Keis introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2005-70-239 - ADOPTING A RESOLUTION TO <br />PARTICIPATE IN THE CO UNTYWIDEALL-HAZARD <br />MITIGATION PLAN AS RECOMMENDED BY THE EMERGENCY <br />SERVICES DIRECTOR <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Blesener. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />The Director reported that as part of the City's goal setting session, one of <br />the goals was to conduct disaster preparedness exercises. The Director <br />reported thaC on November 15` he will be conducting a review of the City's <br />Emergency Management Plan with department heads. In December, he is <br />planning to review the plan with the Council; and in the spring a full scale <br />disaster drill will be held on a County-wide basis. <br />The Director reported that the third resolution adopts the County's <br />Emergency Operations Plan. Again, Little Canada's plan becomes an <br />appendix of the County's Plan. <br />Mr. Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0.2005-10-240 - ADOPTING A RESOLUTION TO <br />PARTICIPATE IN THE COUNTYWIDE EMERGENCY <br />OPERATIONS PLAN AS RECOMMENDED BY THE EMERGENCY <br />SERVICES DIRECTOR <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2005-10-247 - CALLING A WORKSHOP <br />MEETING FOR WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 76, 2005 AT 5:00 P.M. <br />OR AS SOON THEREAFTER AS PRACTICAL TO CONSIDER <br />QUESTION TOPICS FOR A COMMUNITY SURVEY <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0).
