MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />NOVEMBER 23, 2005 <br />GROUP FROM THE CONSENT AGENDA FOR FURTHER <br />DISCUSSION <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2005-11-274 -APPROVING THE CONSENT <br />AGENDA WHICH CONTAINS THE FOLLOWING: <br />*APPROVING THE AGREEMENT FOR AUDITING/ACCOUNTING <br />SERVICES FOR 2005 AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY <br />ADMINISTRATOR TO EXECUTE ON BEHALF OF THE CITY <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />JPA FOR The City Administrator presented the Council with a Joint Powers <br />COUNTY Agreement for the City's continuation as a member of the Ramsey <br />GIS GROUP County Geographic Information Systems Users Group for athree-year <br />period beginning in 2006. <br />The City Attorney reported that the League of Minnesota Cities is <br />recommending the addition of language in joint powers agreements which <br />limits tort liability exposure to one limit rather than the combined limits of <br />all participants. With the addition of Chat language, the City Attorney and <br />City Administrator recommended approval of the agreement. <br />Mr. Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0.2005-I1-275 - APROVING THE RAMSEY <br />CO UNTY JOINT PO WERS AGREEMENT FOR GEOGRAPHIC <br />INI'ORMATION SYSTEMS USERS' GROUP AND AUTHORIZING <br />THE MAYOR AND CITY ADMINISTRATOR TO EXECUTE THE <br />AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Keis. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0).
