The Commission was pleased with Che plans for Spooner Park, but felt that the Council
should approve of The wording for the sign. The Commission also liked the plans for the
memorial trail sign. This sign is similar to Spooner Park's sign. However, it is smaller and it
will contain the Fire Department logo with brick to match the fire station. The sign will be
placed near the parking lot and will be visible from the street near the entrance to the trail. Pine
trees will be planted behind it.
