She
stated that they pulled out some of the items from the bid that were over-priced. The City will
be subbing out these items in order to save money. The City Council approved Frattalone
Paving's low bid with the adjustments. This project should be started within a couple of weeks.
The Commission is looking forward to the completion of these projects.
PARK Sanders stated that he does not have any prices yet to report for the Spooner Park and
SIGNS Firefighters' Memorial Trail entrance signs. He has started to call contractors to obtain this
information. Informal bids will be obtained on these projects with different parts (pillars, sign,
pavers, etc.) to be bid separately. Work should begin this fall.
WATERSHED The Director stated that Che Watershed has not hired an architect yet to draw building plans for
UPDATE the building they are proposing on the Noel Drive location. The Council appears to be
interested in proceeding with a purchase agreement, contingent on re-zoning approval, with the
Watershed on the Noel Drive parcel.
Sackett Glaser stated thaC she would like the purchase agreement to also be contingenC upon
approval of the footprinC and size of the building. She felt that the building size in the revised
proposal was too big for the lot. Other members of the Commission agreed.
