MINUTES
CITY COUNCIL
AUGUST 12, 2015
CONSENT
AGENDA
of the duplex. The Administrator noted that this is the organization that
assisted the City several years ago with the rehab of a house on County
Road B-2. The Administrator reported that the inspection was done today,
and the preliminary estimate is $70,000 to $80,000 to bring the duplex into
conformance with building codes. Given Berres' budget of $60,000, plus
the fact that he has already purchased materials and may be able to do
some work himself, the $60,000 budget appears reasonable. The
Administrator reported that he would have the work scope report as well
as a proposed agreement with Berres available for the next Council
meeting.
Keis introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 2015-8-155 — CONTINUING CONSIDERATION
OF THE BERRES APPEAL OF THE LAPSE OF DUPLEX USE FOR
2955/2957 ARCADE STREET UNTIL THE AUGUST 26, 2015
COUNCIL MEETING
The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour.
Ayes (5).
Nays (0).
