Montour asked what type <br />of wood is proposed. The Director indicated that the Commission <br />indicated that the pergola should be made of cedar. <br />McGraw asked if the Veterans Memorial Committee has reviewed and <br />approved the project. The Director indicated that the Chair of the <br />Committee has encouraged Huot to do this project. Fischer reported that <br />the Veterans Committee has discussed the project and feels positive about <br />it. <br />Keis asked if the wood will be stained. The Director replied that it will be, <br />but the wood will be allowed to weather for a period of time. McGraw <br />asked about dimensions of the pergola and what it will cover. The <br />Director reported that the pergola will be over the picnic table/paver area <br />extending about 1 foot over the pavers on all sides. The pergola will be 8 <br />feet in height. Footings will be installed. <br />Craig Miller, Boy Scout Leader, reported that Scout Huot is not yet <br />present and asked that Council delay action until Huot arrives. In the <br />meantime, Miller introduced three Scout Leaders who are visiting from <br />Germany. The German Scout Leaders introduced themselves to the <br />Council. <br />CABLE TV The Administrator reported that as part of the Cable TV System upgrades <br />SYSTEM quotes were obtained for enterprise drives, rack rails, and 16 GB RAM <br />UPGRADES upgrades. The low quote was from SimplyNAS in the amount of $12,499, <br />and the Administrator recommended approval He also indicated that work <br />should begin on the upgrade next week. The Administrator anticipated <br />that only the August 26th meeting will be impacted and temporary <br />production equipment will be utilized to cablecast that Council meeting. <br />Torkelson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2015-8-160 —AWARDING THE QUOTE OF <br />SIMPLYNAS IN THE AMOUNT OF $12,499 FOR CABLE SYSTEM <br />UPGRADES AS RECOMMENDED BY THE CABLE TV PRODUCER <br />AND CITY ADMINISTRATOR <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Fischer. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0).
