If you were to look at the CPU technically if one of those excavators wanted also to <br />provide lawn care service to his existing customer base he would not be allowed to <br />store that lawnmower on a trailer in the storage area. A large amount of our money, <br />time, City Counsel and City Staff time would need to be used to again come to the <br />city to make a change to the CUP. This is not a proficient way of conducting business <br />in this city or any other city. <br />Lastly, we are requesting change in the screening requirement due to the fact that one <br />of the tenants in this building uses the storage area for moving equipment in and out <br />of the site periodically, 24 hours a day because he is an excavator who does <br />emergency city sewer and water at any an all hours of the day or night. <br />Also, two of the tenants do snow plowing during winter times and comes and goes at <br />all hour of the day and night. The third tenant from my experience and one year of <br />ownership works day and night usually 6 days a week. So installing a gate to create <br />additional screening on the south side of the building would be a waste of time, effort <br />and money because it would never be closed to create the screening that the city <br />requested.
