MINUTES CITY COUNCIL MARCH 10, 2004 present. ,Anderson noted that given Council Member LaValle has expressed his support of the extension of Little Canada watermain into the 'Twin Lake area, waiting until the next meeting would only result in an unnecessary delay. Therefore, Anderson supported the reconsideration of the matter this evening. Mr. Anderson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RFSOI_ UTION NO. 2004-3-44 -RECONSIDERING IMPROVEMENT NO. 2002-OG FOR THE TWIN LAKE AREA The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Fahey. Ayes (4) Anderson, Fahey, Montour, Blesener. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: REb'07, IIT70N NO. 2004-3-94 -ORDERING IMPROVEMENT NO. 2002-OG, 1MPROVEMF_NT OF TWINLAKE BLVD. BY THE INSTALL ATION OFLITTLE CANADA WATERMAIN AND THE IMPROVEMENT OF TWIN LAKE ROAD AND TWIN LAKE TRA71. BY THE INSTALLATION OF LITTLE CANADA WATERMAIN, ROAD RECONSTRUCTIONINCLIIDING CONCRETE CDRB AND GUTTER, AND DRAINAGE ENHANCEMENTS, UTII IZING OPTION 2 PRESENTED BY T LIE CITY ENGINEER FOR CONNECTION TO I ITTLE CANADA WATERMAIN, AND AC;R,EEING TFIAT TILE CITY WILL PAY 50% OF THE COST OF BRINGING L ZTTLE CANADA WATERMAIN UNDER THE FREEWAY TO THE TWIN LAKE AREA The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. P'RATTALONE Fahey noted the recommendations of the City Planner and City BUILDING/ Administrator against the.Family Academy proposal for the Frattalone PUBLIC property, including location of the .Public Works garage at that site. WORI{S Fahey further noted that the City Administrator is recommending the GARAGE City dispose of the property it owns on County Road B and that it begin to pursue alternative locations for the Public Works garage. Anderson noted that the staffs analysis is that it cam~ot recommend the City acquire the Frattalone property based on the needs of Public Works, including the potential to subdivide the property to sell for development.
