MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />MAY 23, 2001 <br />that approval of the plat with the cul-cle-sacs as private streets allowed for <br />setbacks for the townhomes which would 'lot have been allowed if the cul-de- <br />sacs had been platted as public. <br />Fahey agreed, and pointed out that now accepting this cul-de-sacs as public <br />would result in these setbacks being accepted indirectly when they would have <br />never been accepted directly, Falley also pointed out that the issue of snow <br />storage on these small cul-de-sacs also slakes lair uneasy. <br />Scalze Celt that accepting the Pitrina cul-de-sacs as public would be unfair to <br />taxpayers that developed their properties to City standards, <br />Anderson pointed out that the very issues being discussed tonight where <br />concerns the CoU1161 had at the tinle the plat was approved.
