MINUTES CITY COUNCIL JULY 14, 2004 The Administrator reported that City stafl'then met with the low bidder, Frattalone Excavating, to discuss the changes, and they were accepting of the changes. The Administrator estimated the changes would net a $50,000 savings bringing total project costs more in line with the initial estimates for the project. Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 2004-7-I47 - RECONSIDERING THE l ITTI E CANADA TRAIL CONNECTION BH)S AS RECOMMENDED BY CITY STAF7% The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Anderson. Ayes (5) LaValle, Anderson, Blesener, Montour, Fahey. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOI UTIONNO. 2004-7--148-AWARDING THELOWBID FOR LITTLE CANADA TRA71 CONNECTIONS SUBMITTED BY FRATTAI_ONE Ea'CAVATING SUB.IECT TO THEIR EXECUTION OF CHANGE ORDER #Y AS OUTLINED BY THE CITY ENGINEER IN HIS REPORT DATED JUI Y 19, 200A AND AUT HOR77,ING CITY STAFF TO ARRANGE F012 COMPLETION OP T HE WORK ITEMS` NECESSARY AS A RESULT OF CHANGE ORDER #I The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. PROHIBITION Council reviewed the recommendation of the Fire Chief and Fire Marshal OF FIRES OR relative to the prohibition of f res or barbecues on balconies or patios. BARBECUES Blesener noted that this makes the City Code consisted with the Fire Code ON BALCONIES which the City adopted last February. OR PATIOS Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 2004-7-1 A9 - ADOPTING AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 602 OF THE LITTLE CANADA MUNICIPAL.
