MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JULY 28, 2004 <br />COMPRE- <br />HENSIVE <br />SIGN PLAN - <br />DISTRICT <br />COUNCIL 82 <br />'The developer agreed to the tabling of action on the Preliminary Plat and <br />signed 60-day Waiver agreements. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOI, UTION NO. 2004-7-158 -CONTINUING TAF. PUBI IC <br />HEARING AND TAI3L LNG ACTION ON THE PROPOSED <br />PRELIMINARY PLAT FOR CERVAIS HILLS' UNTIL. THE <br />SEPTEMBER 27, 2004 REGULAR COUNCIL. MEETING <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Anderson. <br />Ayes (4) Blesener, Anderson, LaValle, Montour. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />LaValle opened the public hearing to consider the Comprehensive Sign <br />,Plan for District Council 82. It was noted that the Planning Commission <br />recommended approval of the proposed sign plan. <br />The City Planner reported that the proposed sign plan is below the <br />maximum amount of signage allowed for the building. I Ie recommended <br />approval of the plan as submitted. <br />There was no one present from the general public wishing to comment on <br />this matter. <br />Upon motion by Montour, seconded by Anderson, the public hearing was <br />closed. <br />Montour suggested that the lighting of the signage be reviewed by the City <br />Planner or City staff to ensure that it is not overdone. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2004-7--159 -APPROVING TILE <br />COMPREFIENSIVE SIGN PLAN FOR DISTRICT COUNCIL. H2 AS <br />SUBMI7"I'ED SUB.TL'CT TO COMFLIANCE WITH T HE <br />RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE PLANNING COMMIb'.SION AND <br />.SU13.IECT TO RF_VIEWAND APPROVAL OF SIGNAGE LIGHTING <br />13Y TAE CITYPI_ANNER OR CITYSTAFF <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (4) Blesener, LaValle, Montour, Anderson. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />
