MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL, <br />JULY 28, 2004 <br />RESOI UTION NO. 2/104-7-I GS - ADOPTING AN ORDINANCE <br />AMENDING CHAPTER 9]7.030 OF TILE LITTLE CANADA CITY <br />CODE, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE', BY PROVIDING <br />FOR SETBACK REQUIREMENTS <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. <br />Ayes (4) Blesener, Montour, Anderson, LaValle. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />CONSENT Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />AGENDA <br />RESOI UTION NO. 2004-7-166 -APPROVING THE CONSENT <br />AGENDA WHICH CONTAINS TILE FOLLOWING: <br />*APPROVAI OFA TOBACCO I /CEN.SE FOR W/I_I /AM YANG <br />DBA CITGO.STATION; <br />*APPROVA7 OF PARTIAL PAYMENT FOR 2004 PRO.IECTS AS <br />REQUF,STED BY FRATTAI_ONE Ea'CA VAI'ING AND AS <br />RECOMMENDED B I' THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Anderson. <br />Ayes (4) Montour, Anderson, LaValle, Blesener. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />ELECTRICAL The City Administrator reported that Dick Nelson is retiring as the City's <br />INSPECTOR Electrical Inspector, but will be completing inspections for all permits <br />CONTRACT issued for work currently in progress. Mr. Pete Tokle, Tokle Inspections, <br />will serve as the City's new Electrical Inspector. Fle will fll the same role <br />in a number of neighboring cities. <br />The City Attorney reported that he has reviewed the proposed contract and <br />is recommending some minor modifications. <br />Mr. Montour introduced the following resolution and u~oved its adoption: <br />RE.SOLUT/ON NO. 20/i4-7-I67 -APPROVING TILE EI_ECTRICAI, <br />INSPECTION CONTRACT WITH TOKL E INSPECT ]ONS AS <br />RECOMMENDED BY I7IE CITY ADMINISTRATOR AND AS <br />MODIFIED BY THE CITYATTORNEY, AND AUTHORIZING THE <br />MAYOR AND CITI'ADMINIST/ZATOIi TO Ea'ECUTE THE <br />CONTRACT ON BEHALF OF' THE CITY <br />16 <br />
