MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />SEPTEMBER 8, 2004 <br />ACQUISITION proceed with appraisals of needed rights-of way in the event that a <br />settlement cannot be reached with the property owner by September ] 0°i. <br />The Administrator also recommended that if a settlement cannot be <br />reached, that the appraisal process include the additional rights-of--way for <br />Condit Street beyond just the Miller property. The Administrator noted <br />that the appraisal procedural step in establishing an offer of just <br />compensation needed for the eminent domain process. If that process is <br />necessary, The Administrator indicated that the Nadeau Road improvement <br />could occur next year as a public improvement. <br />Nlr. Resolution declared adopted. <br />POTENTIAL The Council reviewed the City Administrator's report dated September <br />PUBLIC 3, 2004 relative to potential 'Public Works garage sites. It was noted the <br />WORKS Administator prioritized the sites identified, with 3088 Soo Lane having <br />GARAGE t7re highest priority, 3165 and 3167 Spruce Street having second priority, <br />SITE5 and 196 and 3164 Ryan Lane having third priority. <br />The Council discussed the pros and cons of each of these sites as outlined <br />by the Administrator. it was the consensus of the Cowicil to proceed with <br />an appraisal of 3088 Soo Lane at this time.
