MINU'CI'JS <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />OCTOBER 13, 2004 <br />Fahey indicated that he has total conrdence that the Watershed will not do <br />anything contrary to what the Parks & Recreation Commission would <br />want to see for the area. <br />The Director indicated that as a City Commission, the Parks & Recreation <br />Commission would like the opportunity to be involved in this planning <br />process. <br />The City Administrator indicated that proceeding with the Purchase <br />Agreement and then development of plans by the Watershed's architect <br />will provide the Parl<s & Recreation Commission and the neighborhood <br />with better information to react to. <br />Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2004-10-245 -APPROVING THE PURCHASE <br />AGREEMENT 73ETWEEN THE CITY AND THE RAM,SEY <br />WASHINGTON ME7R0 WATER.S~HED DISTRICT FOR THE <br />PURCHASE OF' TILE CITY'S NOEL. DRIVE PROPERTY AS <br />DRAFTED BY THE CII'I'ADMINIS7RATOR, SUB.IECT TO THE <br />CITYATTORNEY'b' REVIEWAND APPROVi17_, SUB.IECT TO <br />RE IBNTION OP THE CONDITIONS THAT ARE A PART OF THE <br />LETTER OF UNDERSTANDING IN THE FURCHAS'E <br />AGREEMENT; AND SUBJECT TO THE NEED FOR CITY <br />COUNCIL APYROVAI_ OFANYSUBb'TANTIVE CHANGES TO THE <br />PURCHASE AGREEMENT; AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND <br />CITYADMIN/STRATUR TO EaECUTB THE PURCHASE <br />AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY, AND A UTHORIZING <br />THE CITI'ADMINISTRATOR TO PROCEED WITH THE <br />APPRALSAI.
