MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />NOVI/MI31'rR 10, 2004 <br />Blesener pointed out that the Unweave the Weave project brings three <br />lanes of traffic up to Rice Street. Lindeberg replied that that was correct. <br />He noted that additional lanes will be added to I-694 in stages to carry the <br />capacity coming from Unweave the Weave. <br />Montour asked if there were any provisions for a pedestrian walkway <br />along Rice Street. Lindeberg reported that there will be a 10-foot trail <br />across the Rice Street bridge. However, it has not been determined which <br />side of the bridge that trail will be located. Resolution declared adopted. <br />LIQUOR The City Administrator reported that there were two violations to <br />VIOLATIONS the City's Liquor Ordinance, wherein alcohol was sold to underage <br />individuals as parC of a Sheriff's Department compliance check Those <br />violations occurred at Tierney's Liquors and Moon I3ay Liquors. The <br />Administrator reported that the clerks making the sales have been <br />prosecuted criminally, and noted the report from the City Attorney <br />outlining the disposition of those cases which include a $I I S find, tau <br />days of stayed jail time and placed on probation for one year with <br />conditions of no fw~ther violations. <br />
