MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />MARCH: 12, 2003 <br />raised from 70% of the minimum charge to 75% of the minimum charge <br />per unit. Rate increases are proposed to be effective January 1, 2003. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOI. UTION NO. 2003-3-56 -INCREASING .SEWER RATES <br />EFFECTI vE .IANUARY 1, 2003 AS RECOMMENDED ]3Y CITY <br />STAFF <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Fahey. <br />Ayes (5) Blesener, Fahey, Anderson, Montour, LaValle. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2003-3-57-RETAINING THE CITY ~S <br />CURRENT WATER RATES WITH NO INCREASE FOR 200,3 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Fahey. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Fahey, Montour, Anderson, Blesener. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />2003 GOALS Council reviewed the 2003 Goals that were identified at a recent goal <br />setting session. The City Administrator reported that action plans would <br />be developed for each goal. These action plans would then be presented to <br />the Cowicil for their review at a workshop meeting. Fahey suggested that <br />given the park and trail-related goals, the Parks & Recreation Commission <br />be invited to attend that workshop meeting. <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 21103-3-5 8 - CALLING A WORKSHOP MEETING <br />FOR WEDNESDAY, APR1L X, 2003 AT 6:00 P.M. TO REVIEW 2003 <br />GOALS AND ACTION I'I_ANS <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Blesener. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Blesener, Anderson, Fahey, Montour. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />RECREATIONAL The Cowlcil reviewed proposed changes to the City's recreational fire <br />TIRE ordinance as recommended by City staff. The primary change to this <br />ORDINANCE ordinance is the elimination of the need for property owners to call the <br />Sheriff's Department to report the fact that they are going to have a <br />
