MINUTES CITY COUNCIL APRiL 9, 2003 TOWN MEETING Mayor Fahey invited the general public to the City's town meeting to be held on Saturday, April 12°i, from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the City Center. The town meeting is the City's first event of the year celebrating the Little Canada's 50°i fvmiversary. The History Center will also be opened on April I2°i and will have displays consisting of 1950's vintage items. ARCADE Mayor Fahey reported that reconstruction of the Arc<ule Street bridge has STREET begun. The bridge will be closed to all traffic from April 9°i through BRIDGE July 3`s. The boat channel under the bridge will be closed from April 9°i through May 23"~, and will open for weekend traffic only from May 23`~ to July 3"`. ALCOHOL The Council noted that there was a violation of the City's ordinance at the VIOLATION - Oasis Market in that the sale of alcohol to an underage individual OASIS occurred. The City Attorney has recommended that the Council table MARKET action on the matter pending the disposition of the cow't relative to the criminal prosecution of the clerk who conducted the sale. Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 2003-4-74 -TAE] ING ACTION ON THE OASIS MARKET ORDINANCE VIOLATION PENDING DISPOSITION OF THE CRIMINAL. ACTION 13Y TILE COURT The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. Ayes (5) LaValle, Montour, Blesener, Anderson, Fahey. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted.
