MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JUNE 24, 2003 <br />REZONING - Mayor Fahey opened the public hearing to consider the rezoning from <br />5 EAST Business-Warehouse (B-W) to General Business (B-3) for 5 East <br />COUNTY County Road B as requested by Lee & Lee Enterprises. It was noted <br />ROAD B - that the City Planner and the Planning Commission recommended <br />LEE & LEE approval of the rezoning. <br />ENTERPRISES <br />There was no one present from the general public wishing to comment on <br />this matter. <br />Upon motion by Fahey, seconded by Blesener, the public hearing was <br />closed. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOI. U'L70N NO. 2003-6-.130 -APPROVING THE REZONING OF <br />S IsAST COUNTY ROAD 13 FROMI3USINESS-WAREHOUSE (73-Yf~ <br />TO (iENERAI, 73 US7NESS Q3-3) 73ASED ON TIIE <br />RECOMMENDATION OF TIIE CITY PLANNER AND THE <br />PLANNING' COMMISSION <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. <br />Ayes (4) Blesener, Montour, Fahey, Anderson. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />PRELIMINARY Mayor Fahey opened the public hea~'ing to consider the preliminary and <br />& P'INAL PLAT- final plat for the Inman Addition. It was noted that the Planning <br />INMAN Commission has recommended approval of both the preliminary and <br />ADDITION final plat subject to compliance with the conditions outlined at their <br />meeting on June 12, 2003. Fahey noted that the City Planner has <br />submitted a revised report dated June 19, 2003 which outlines three <br />options relative to the proposed plat. <br />Ed Inman reported that his engineer and the City Engineer are in <br />agreement with the handling of storm water relative to this property. <br />Inman further noted his preference Por the installation of a temporary cul- <br />de-sac at the end of Allan Avenue, although he indicated that he would <br />agree to a full cul-de-sac if that is the preference of the City. <br />Fahey stated that he supported installation of the temporary cul-de-sac at <br />the end of Allan Avenue. He further indicated that he did not support <br />requiring the Inma~i's to dedicate the right-of--way for Leeward Way at <br />this time as he felt this would give the Lancette's an unfair development <br />advantage at the Imnan's expense. Fahey felt that Option #2 outlined by <br />the City Planner in his June 19'x' report made the most sense. Fahey felt <br />
