MINII'I'ES
CITY COUNCIL
JUNE 24, 2003
for the Imnan property and the Lancette property. Fahey felt that the City
could require the dedication for the full length of Leeward Way.
Blesener felt the Development Agreement should address the Leeward
Way right-of--way as abuts the two proposed lots. Fahey agreed.
Blesener asked if the City had the authority to improve Leeward Way.
The City Attorney replied that the City could order the improvement of
Leeward Way.
Lancette asked about the vacation of the driveway easement. The City
Planner noted that the driveway easement is a private easement and
vacation of that easement requires no action by the City.
Lancette asked about the park dedication. Montour noted that the Pat~ks &
Recreation Commission is requiring a cash park charge to be collected at
the time building permits are issued for the lots.
Lancette indicated that she would prefer that the Inman Addition is
approved with the dedication of the Leeward Way right-of--way at this
time to avoid problems in the future.
Dennis Icorn, 3002 Greenbrier Street, asked about sewer and water stubs
for the developable lot he owns on Allan Avenue. The City Administrator
indicated that the issue of utility services for adjacent properties would be
addressed in the Development Agreement. The Administrator suggested
that the City would shay e in the cost of services for adjacent properties at
this time. When those properties are developed, the property owners
would be required to pay the appropriate costs for utilities.
There was no one else present from the general public wishing to
comment on this matter.
Upon motion by Blesener, seconded by Montour, the public hearing was
closed.
Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOI. UTION NO. 2003-G-13I -APPROVING THE PRELIMINARY
AND FINAL PLAT FOR THE INMAN ADDITION SURJEC'T TO
COMPLIANCE WITH OPTION 2 AS OUTLINED IN TILE CITY
P] ANNER'S RF,PORT DATED JUNE I9, 2003, SU73.IECT TO
COMPLIANCE WITH THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE CITY
ENGINEER, SUBJECT TO ALLOWING FOR A TEMPORARY CUI_-
DE-SACAT THE END OFALLANAVENUE, SUI3JECl TO MR.
