The Director indicated that
STREET in surveying the neighborhood, three property owners prefer that the no
parking signs be removed, while two prefer that no parking stays in place.
Blesener noted that no parking was put in place from 2602 Stark Street
north to Old County Road C because the road section was narrow. Now
that the road has been improved, there is a consistent width all along Stark
Street. Blesener asked if the two property owners who want the no
parking to remain stated their reasons.
The ,Director indicated that the property owner at the corner of Stark and
Old County Road C wants the no parking to stay in place because of
parking problems adjacent to her home. The Director indicated that he
would be doing an analysis of this particular situation to determine if there
is a solution.
Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 2003-11-ZGS -AUTHORIZING THE PU73LIC
WORKS DIRECTOR TO REMOVE THE NO PARKING SIGNS ON
STARK STREET
