MINUTES
CITY COUNCIL
NOVEMBER 2G, 2003
Marcel Zoclr suggested that a three-way stop would also help to slow
traffic. Fahey suggested that once the building addition is complete, that
the traffic situation on Country Drive be studied. Fahey asked the
building completion date. Wilson replied that the target completion date is
late spring. Fahey suggested that the traffic study be conducted in the
summer of 2004.
Kim Walstead, Yorkton Ridge, suggested that the timing of the stop light
at Little Canada Road and Country Drive be adjusted. He indicated that it
only allows 6 or 7 cars through in one cycle. The City Administrator
indicated that he would ask MN DOT to review the timing of the light,
especially during peak traffic periods.
Nancy Walstead, Yorkton Ridge, reported that there are pallets and
machinery stored at the back of the existing parking lot along Condit
Street. Walstead expressed concern that removal of the berm would make
this mess more visible. The City Administrator indicated that outdoor
storage is not allowed on the site, and indicated that this is a code
enforcement issue. Wilson reported that Mr. Biagini is very particular
about the site and indicated that there is nothing being stored outside.
Blesener asked if Wilson would comply with the recommendations of the
City Plainer and City Bngineer. Wilson replied that the project would
comply with those recommendations.
There was no one else present wishing to comment on this matter.
Upon motion by LaValle, seconded by Blesener, the public hearing was
closed.
Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 2004-17-27.3 -APPROVING THE PRELIMINARY
AND FINAL.
