They expressed an interest in selling but did not <br />nave any price in mind. They said that 8 years ago the Ramsey County <br />j Gpen Space offered them b31,000. They were going to get back to .us <br />with a price. <br />At 7:30 Dlr. Paul Borg of School District 623 met with us regarding <br />the fence posts we are to install in the park area. The School <br />District will be installing posts at the end of the parking lot at <br />Little Canada School. <br />The city of Little Canada will install post from the school to the <br />street up the road to the garage and install a gate by the garage to <br />prevent traffic from entering the lower level of the park by the <br />tennis courts and ball fields. The school districts insists that there <br />be no vehicular traffic in this lower level at an~~ time not even <br />for special events. <br />Present: Carl Spooner, Bev Scalze, Dan Drake, Lois Runyon, Bill Sanders, <br />Elaine Zoch, Jim ldorelan. <br />Bill Sanders presented the bids for installation of the posts and <br />Jim Dlorelan motioned,that xe go with the 8 x 8 posts low bid of <br />X3,747.00. Bill Sanders seconded. <br />If the low bid for the 8 x 8 posts is in error then Jim Dlorelan __ <br />motioned that we go with the low price of $2,565.40 for 6 x 6 posts. <br />Bill Sanders seconded. <br />Lois Runyonmotioned that we authorize Bill to go with the law bid on the trees. <br />Dan Drake seconed. <br />Bill will let the bide for the asphalt trails in the park left to be <br />done. <br />Dan Drake mentioned that the ersion on the trail has gotten worse. <br />Bev will contact the engineer to solve the problem. <br />Bev will also check on price given by the Turnquists xith Ramsey County <br />Open Space. <br />It n~as- requested that we install 2 benched by the swing set and sand=~ <br />box in the park.
