MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />MARCH 9, 2016 <br />Nays (1). Montour. Resolution declared adopted. <br />Montour stated that he feels the ordinance should be more restrictive than <br />500 foot radius distances. <br />APPROVE PLANS <br />The City Administrator stated the City Engineer has prepared plans and <br />AND <br />specifications for the 2016 Street and Utility Projects for Aspen Circle, <br />AUTHORIZE BID <br />Morrison Street from Demont Avenue to the south end, and Demont <br />PROCESS FOR <br />Avenue from McMenemy Street to Savage Lane. He noted that there is <br />2016 STREET <br />also some capital improvement work included. He stated those project <br />IMPROVEMENTS <br />costs will be listed separately and the Council can decide what should be <br />done. <br />McGraw introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOL UTION NO. 2016-3-55 —ACCEPT THE 2016 STREET AND <br />UTILITY IMPROVEMENT PLANS AND A UTHORIZE <br />ADVERTISING FOR BIDS AS RECOMMENDED BY THE CITY <br />ENGINEER <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Fischer. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />AUTHORIZE <br />The City Clerk stated that Planning Commissioner Steve Ledin had <br />ADVERTISING <br />recently resigned from the Commission, as he has moved out of the city. <br />FOR PLANNING <br />She stated that staff recommends advertising on the city's website and <br />COMMISSION <br />newsletter, and local newspaper for a new Planning Commissioner. <br />VACANCY <br />Keis introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOL UTION NO. 2 016-3-56 — A UTHORIZE AD VER TISING FOR A <br />PLANNING COMMISSION VACANCY <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />CANADIAN The City Administrator stated that work has started on the railroad quiet <br />PACIFIC zone crossing signals. He stated the City has received three invoices from <br />RAILWAY Canadian Pacific totaling $378,274 for work performed to date. He noted <br />INVOICES FOR that he is waiting for a little more information, but recommends the <br />QUIET ZONE <br />CROSSINGS <br />7 <br />
