MINUTES CITY COUNCIL APRIL 27, 2016 RESOLUTION The City Clerk stated that St. Paul -Ramsey County Public Health and the TO SUPPORT Ramsey County Attorney's Office have started a new joint initiative called THE RAMSEY "Start by Believing" which is a national public awareness campaign COUNTY designed to improve the response to sexual violence survivors. She stated "START BY that the Ramsey County Board of Commissioners has requested that all BELIEVING cities in Ramsey County pass resolutions in support of this campaign. She COMMUNITY" stated that staff recommends the City Council pass the resolution of INITIATIVE support for the Start by Believing initiative. Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOL UTION NO. 2016-4-73 APPROVING RESOL UTION 2016-4- 73, SUPPORTING THE RAMSEY COUNTY: A START BY BELIEVING COMMUNITYINITIATIVE The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Fischer. Ayes (4). Nays (0). Resolution adopted. NEW The City Clerk stated that Yulan Zhao has submitted an application for a MASSAGE new massage therapist license to work at Zen Asian Spa at 2864 Middle THERAPIST Street. She stated that all documents and fees have been submitted, and LICENSE FOR the background check by the Ramsey County Sheriff's Department was YULAN ZHAO satisfactory. She noted that massage therapy licenses run through June 30 annually, so this license will expire at that time. The City Clerk stated that staff recommends approval of the massage therapist license for Yulan Zhao. Fischer introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOL UTION NO. 2016-4-76 APPROVINGA MASSAGE THERAPIST LICENSE FOR YULAN ZHAO TO WORKAT ZEN ASIANSPA, 2864 MIDDLE STREET, TO RUN THROUGH JUNE 30, 2016, SUBJECT TO COMPLIANCE WITHALL CITY CODE REQUIREMENTS. The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. Ayes (4). Nays (0). Resolution adopted. C!
