MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />APRIL 27, 2016 <br />MN DEPT. OF <br />TRANSPORT- <br />ATION & <br />LITTLE <br />CANADA <br />MASTER <br />PARTNERSHIP <br />CONTRACT <br />The City Administrator stated that the City Engineer has requested that the <br />City Council approve the Minnesota Department of Transportation and <br />City of Little Canada Master Partnership Contract since our current <br />contract has expired. He explained that the City uses MNDOT to do <br />material testing for multiple projects, and recommends that the Council <br />give approval to enter in to a new master partnership contract with the <br />Minnesota Department of Transportation. <br />Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOL UTION NO. 2016-4-78 APPROVING THE CITY ENTER IN <br />TO A NEW MASTER PARTNERSHIP CONTRACT WITH THE <br />MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPOR TA TION AND <br />AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITYADMINISTRA TOR TO <br />EXECUTE ON BEHALF OF THE CITY. <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Keis. <br />Ayes (4). <br />Nays (0). Resolution adopted. <br />PROCLAMATION The City Administrator stated that May 15-21 is the 2016 National Police <br />FOR NATIONAL Week, which is designated in order to honor the service and sacrifice of <br />POLICE WEEK, law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty. He noted that a <br />MAY 15-21,2016 candlelight vigil will be held on May 13"'. He stated that staff <br />recommends the Council approve the proclamation for National Police <br />Week. <br />Keis introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOL UTION NO. 2016-4-77 APPROVING RESOLUTION 2016-4- <br />77, PROCLAMAING MAY I5-21, 2016 AS NATIONAL POLICE <br />WEEK. <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. <br />Ayes (4). <br />Nays (0). Resolution adopted. <br />Keis stated that the City of Little Canada has officially designated the <br />week of May 15-21, 2016 as National Police Week. <br />
