MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />APRIL 27, 2016 <br />CALL FOR <br />The City Administrator stated that due to the deterioration level after the <br />IMPROVEMENT <br />winter of some of the streets in the industrial park, staff asked the Council <br />HEARING FOR <br />at the last meeting if they were supportive of adding this area into the 2016 <br />SPRUCE STREET, <br />improvement project. He noted that these streets were last reconstructed <br />RYAN DRIVE <br />in 1991. He stated that the contractor will use the current bid pricing for <br />AND RYAN LANE <br />these additional streets. He stated that the neighborhood meeting with the <br />property owners was on April 25, 2016 and about ten people attended. He <br />noted that all of the attendees were supportive of the improvements and <br />the next step is to call for an improvement hearing. The City <br />Administrator stated that staff recommends calling for an improvement <br />hearing and setting the date. He noted that at least 4 Council members <br />must attend the improvement hearing. <br />The Council agreed to call for the improvement hearing on Wednesday, <br />May 25, 2016 at 5:OOpm. <br />Keis introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOL UTION NO. 2016-4-79 APPROVE CALLING FOR AN <br />IMPROVEMENT HEARING FOR WEDNESDAY, MAY 25, 2016 AT <br />5: OOPM FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #2016-4, WHICH <br />INCL UDES SPR UCE STREET (BETWEEN 3100 SPR UCE STREET <br />& RYAN DRIVE, RYAN DRIVE AND RYAN LANE). <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Torkelson. <br />Ayes (4). <br />Nays (0). Resolution adopted. <br />CABLE SYSTEM The City Administrator stated that there are still some lingering issues <br />CHANGE with the cable TV upgrade. He stated that Alpha Video submitted three <br />ORDERS change order proposals to address the issues. He explained that some City <br />Staff and Council member Montour met with Alpha Video representatives <br />to review the three proposed change orders. The City Administrator stated <br />that change order #2 was to move the rack in the cable room so that it is <br />not blocking the window. He stated that the committee opted not to move <br />the rack to the closet since the cost was high and it would have used up <br />valuable storage space. He explained that change order #3 was for a box <br />with retractable cables to hook up computers on the dais. He noted that <br />this item was planned for all along, but the part was omitted off the order <br />list, so was not installed. He explained that the only cost for this change <br />order is $940 for the part since the installation had already been paid for. <br />C <br />
