MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JUNE 20, 2016 <br />CONSENT Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />AGENDA <br />RESOLUTIONNO. 2016-6-109 —APPROVING THE CONSENT <br />AGENDA WHICH CONTAINS THE FOLLOWING: <br />*APPROVAL OF THE VOUCHERS <br />*CALL FOR A WORKSHOP ON JULY 27, 2016 AT 6: 00PM TO <br />REVIEW THE CITY'S COMMUNICATIONS PLAN <br />*AMEND MAY 25, 2016 CITY COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES <br />*APPROVE A WAGON VENDOR LICENSE FOR TWIN CITIES <br />MOBILE MARKET FOR JULY 1, 2016 — JUNE 30, 2017 <br />*ESTABLISHMENT OFANABSENTEE BALLOT BOARD <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by McGraw. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />2016 DEER The City Administrator stated that in 2015 the lack of snow cover <br />MANAGEMENT prevented an aerial count of the deer population, and given the previous <br />PLAN year's numbers, the Council did not authorize the total deer management <br />program, except a permit was issued to allow the property owners to hunt <br />on the Frattalone excavating property. He explained that the aerial <br />population survey for 2016 did not show a dramatic increase in the <br />number of deer in the City, and is recommending the same approach as <br />done in 2015 with no hunt, with the possible exception of a permit for <br />hunting on the Frattalone property. <br />McGraw introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2016-6-110 ADOPTING THE 2016 DEER <br />MANAGEMENT PLAN WITH NO DEER HUNT IN 2016, WITH THE <br />POSSIBLE EXCEPTION OF ON THE IRA TIAL ONE PROPERTY, <br />AS PRESENTED BY THE CITYADMINISTRA TOR. <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Fischer. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />DISCUSS CITY Keis stated that he would like to purchase promotional items that could be <br />PROMOTION distributed by the Council or City Staff. He explained that the Council has <br />OPTIONS handed out glow sticks to kids at the Night to Unite events, the City <br />receives requests to donate items to local church and school events, or out <br />of town visitors come to City Hall, and City Staff will find something on <br />hand to distribute. He explained that he would like to order a large <br />11 <br />
