The Associate Planner stated that she had <br />gotten some pricing on various quantities of flashlights and frisbees with <br />the city logo printed on them, and there are also options for clothing. <br />Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOL UTIONNO. 2016-6-111 APPROVING THE ALLOCATION <br />OF UP TO $3,000 TO PURCHASE CITYPROMOTIONAL ITEMS, <br />AND ALLOWING THE MAYOR, COUNCILMEMBER MCGRAW <br />AND CITY STAFF TO DETEMINE WHAT ITEMS TO PURCHASE. <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Fischer. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />NUISANCE <br />The Associate Planner/Code Enforcement Inspector stated that notices <br />ABATEMENTS <br />were mailed to the property owners of 2586 Spruce Street and 2611 <br />OF 2611 AND <br />Spruce Street, requesting the grass nuisance violation be corrected by June <br />2586 SPRUCE <br />18, 2016. She explained that she had re -inspected both properties on June <br />STREET <br />20, 2016, and the violation at 2611 Spruce had been corrected. She stated <br />that the grass had not been mowed at 2586 Spruce Street and requested <br />that Council authorize City Staff to proceed with the abatement action. <br />Keis asked if the City could do anything about the condition of the house <br />since it still has tarps covering the fire damage. The City Administrator <br />stated that there may be issues with the ownership of the property since <br />the owner died in the fire. <br />Keis introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOL UTIONNO. 2016-6-112 —AUTHORIZING THE GRASS <br />NUISANCE ABATEMENT AT 2586 SPR UCE STREET, AS <br />PRESENTED BY THE ASSOCIATE PLANNER/CODE <br />ENFORCEMENT INSPECTOR. <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by McGraw. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />
