MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />AUGUST 10, 2016 <br />of the comments and concerns heard from residents. McGraw stated that <br />all of the comments will be compiled and addressed by the Council and <br />City Staff. He also thanked the Ramsey County Sheriff s Department and <br />Little Canada Fire Department for participating. <br />Montour thanked the Ramsey County Sheriff's Department for holding <br />their Hot Dog with. a Deputy event in Little Canada at Pioneer Park on <br />August 8th. He stated that it was their best event yet and 400 hot dogs <br />were served to residents. <br />CONSENT McGraw introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />AGENDA <br />RESOLUTIONNO. 2016-8-130 —APPROVING THE CONSENT <br />AGENDA WHICH CONTAINS THE FOLLOWING: <br />*APPROVAL OF THE VOUCHERS <br />*APPROVAL OF TWO TEMPORAR Y LIQ UOR LICENSES FOR ST. <br />JOHN'S CHURCH <br />*APPROVAL OF TWO TEMPORAR Y LIQ UOR LICENSES FOR <br />LITTLE CANADA RECREATIONASSOCIATION <br />*THE EXCESS GENERAL FUND TRANSFER <br />*ISSUANCE OF TIF SHORTFALL NOTES FOR SHERMAN & <br />ASSOCIATES <br />*PARTIAL PAYMENT NO. II FOR FPI PAVING FOR LITTLE <br />CANADA ROAD STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT <br />*PARTIAL PAYMENT NO. 4 FOR HARDRIVES, INC. FOR 201 S <br />STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Fischer. <br />Ayes (4). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />SOCIAL MEDIA The City Clerk stated that the City is in the process of drafting a social <br />POLICY media policy, and has made the agreed upon changes to the draft policy <br />after the workshop discussion. She stated that it will be sent to the City <br />Attorney for review. McGraw asked if Staff saw this policy as an <br />evolving document or something that is etched in stone. The City Clerk <br />stated that it will evolve as social media changes, and as the City changes <br />how involved it is in social media, and what social media it is participating <br />in. She stated that the overall expectations of City Staff that are addressed <br />in the policy are something that will likely not change much. <br />2 <br />
