MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />NOVEMBER 16, 2016 <br />Gilbertson field a facelift with new fencing and backstop,bleachers, <br />updated signage, leveling the infield, and new concrete under the bleachers. <br />He noted that work has already started due to the good weather. <br />Mr. Joriman stated that he is concerned about the direction of the Parks & <br />Recreation department due to the recent staffing cuts and a pending <br />retirement. He noted that he is also concerned about continuing the <br />connection between the Little Canada Recreation Association and the City. <br />Keis stated that the City has been unable to snake plans due to the unknown <br />of the timing of the pending retirement. The City Administrator stated that <br />there will always be a liaison between the City and the Recreation <br />Association. <br />CONSENT Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />AGENDA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2016-11-190 — APPROVING THE CONSENT <br />AGENDA WHICH CONTAINS THE FOLLOWING: <br />*APPROVAL OF THE VOUCHERS <br />*CALL FOR A WORKSHOP ON WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 21, 2016 <br />AT 6: 00PM TO CONDUCT THE CITYADMINISTRATOR'S ANNUAL <br />PERFORMANCE EVALUATION <br />*APPROVE PARTIAL PAYMENT #7 FOR HARDRIVES, INC. FOR <br />2015 CENTERVILLE ROAD IMPROVEMENTS <br />*APPROVE PARTIAL PAYMENT #2 FOR T.A. SCHIFSKY FOR <br />ASPEN CIRCLE ROAD IMPROVEMENTS <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Fischer. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />CANVASS 2016 The City Clerk presented the Council with the November 8, 2016 State <br />MUNICIPAL General Election results. She noted that overall turnout was very good, and <br />ELECTION there was a big increase in the amount of residents voting before the <br />RESULTS election. She explained that this was the first year that residents could <br />come to City Hall the week before the election to vote and put their ballot <br />directly into the ballot counter. She also thanked the City's Election Judges <br />for their dedicated service to the City in conducting the election. The <br />Municipal Election results are as follows with the Clerk noting that John <br />Keis was re-elected to a two year term as Mayor and Mike McGraw and <br />Rick Montour were also re- elected to four year terms as Council Members: <br />3 <br />
