2 <br />budgeting process (Step 2 of the Park & Recreation/Community Services Manager’s Wage <br />Scale). For future years, the Park & Recreation/Community Services Manager’s salary scale <br />will be adjusted at a time consistent with other employees and in a manner subject to the <br />approval of the City Council of Little Canada and in compliance with City’s comparable <br />worth plan. City agrees to provide a performance review of Shearen on an annual basis. <br />4. DEFERRED COMPENSATION. City shall allow Shearen to enroll in the ICMA-RC <br />deferred compensation plan with contributions to this plan to be the sole responsibility of <br />Shearen. <br />5. PAID TIME OFF (PTO). Shearen shall be provided PTO accrual based upon the Schedule <br />as outlined in Section 14 of the City’s Personnel Policy and based upon Shearen’s total full- <br />time employment with the City. Shearen shall also be eligible for one week’s additional PTO <br />on January 1, 2018 and each year thereafter subject to satisfactory performance. <br />6. HOLIDAYS. City will provide Shearen the same standard holidays as enjoyed by other <br />employees as set forth in Section 13 of City’s Personnel Policy. <br />7. INSURANCE. City will pay the cost of hospital and medical insurance for Shearen and <br />dependents in the same manner provided for other employees pursuant to Section 12 of City’s <br />Personnel Policy. Shearen may also participate in the “Opt-Out” program provided for in <br />Section 12 of the City’s Personnel Policy on the same basis as other employees. City will <br />provide Shearen the same group life insurance coverage that is provided to all other City <br />employees. City further agrees to continue to enroll Shearen in long-term disability coverage <br />in a manner consistent with other employees. The cost of long-term disability coverage is <br />Shearen’s responsibility.
