He stated that the Parks Commission recommended taking <br />no further action with the idea of creating the access after reviewing all of <br />the information. Keis stated that he agrees. Montour stated that he also <br />agrees, and noted that the survey results show the residents opinions. <br />Fischer introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOL UTION NO. 2017-5-77 — SUPPORTING THE <br />RECOMMENDATION OF THE PARKS & RECREATION <br />COMMISSION TO NOT PURSUE CREATING ANA CCESS AT <br />WEST SAVAGE LAKE. <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />PARKS MASTER The City Administrator reported that the request for proposals for the <br />PLAN RFP Parks Master Plan were due on Monday, May 8. He explained that he and <br />DECISION the Parks & Recreation/Community Services Manager agreed on their top <br />PROCESS four choices of firms, and suggests having them come in very soon to meet <br />with the Council and Parks Commission. <br />McGraw agrees with the four consultants that Staff chose and feels they <br />are good options. The City Administrator explained that Staff created a <br />matrix to show what distinguishes them from each other. McGraw asked <br />if it had to be the same company that does the plan and provides the on- <br />going consulting services. The City Administrator stated they would not <br />have to be the same firm, but it probably makes more sense to have the <br />same people do both. There was Council consensus to hold the interviews <br />for a Parks Master Plan consultant on May 17 starting at 5:00pm. <br />SUPPLEMENTAL <br />The City Administrator explained that this is back before the Council due <br />AGREEMENT 95A <br />to following MNDOT's procedure, and states that Suburban Auto Body is <br />BETWEEN THE <br />paying $102,000 for acrylic panels on the top portion of the new sound <br />CITY OF LITTLE <br />wall that will be installed in front of their business. He noted that this <br />CANADA, <br />agreement has not changed since the last time it was before the Council. <br />SUBURBAN AUTO <br />Fischer clarified what the City will be responsible for with maintenance of <br />BODY AND <br />the panels. The City Administrator stated that the City will clean the wall <br />MNDOT FOR <br />or remove graffiti as deemed needed by the City, but if the panels <br />ACRYLIC <br />deteriorate, it will be the City's choice to whether to pay for the <br />PANELS ON THE <br />replacement of the acrylic panels, otherwise MNDOT will replace the <br />I -35E SOUND <br />acrylic panels with wood panels. <br />WALL <br />
